Made of high
quality, image grade PVC (Vinyl) or a combination of
PVC/PET (Vinyl/Polyester) materials manufactured with a smooth, clean
surface for optimum print quality in today's direct card printers.
Available in Credit Card size (2 1/8" x 3 3/8", 54mm x 86mm)
in either 10 mil or 30 mil thickness. Also available in several colors.
Blank cards are available in Image Grade PVC, UltraCard(TM), UltraCard II, and UltraCard III versions. UltraCard is a polished, scratch and debris-reduced, high-quality video PVC card. UltraCard II is a high-durability with 15% polyester core and a PVC laminate on top and bottom. UltraCard III offers the highest durability with a 40% polyester core and a PVC laminate on top and bottom. If using PolyGuard overlaminate, the UltraCard II or III is suggested forbest results.
STANDARD DIRECT IMAGE PVC CARDS
PVC Cards cost less compared to
instant
film based card and greatly simplify
production time. No die cutting and
no lamination
required. Photos, personal
data, variable information, logos, card designs and layout are all printed
directly
onto the card.
SMART CARDS
Constructed of PVC with a chip
embedded in the surface of the card, Smart
Cards
are multi-purpose cards - a photo ID card, and access and a transaction
card all-in-one. Compatible with identification software and card printers -
photo, personal data, card design and all variable information are printed
directly on the surface of the card bypassing the location of the chip.
